About the Role

As the Social Media Manager at Khabar Lahariya, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital presence, driving engaging content, and fostering a dynamic online community. Your key responsibilities will include:

Social Media Management

– Content Curation: selecting and curating content for all our social media platforms to ensure our audience is consistently engaged

Visual Storytelling: designing posts and packaging short videos in engaging formats

– Content Scheduling: maintaining a well-structured social media calendar and posting content on a daily basis

Community Engagement: actively monitoring and promptly responding to comments and messages on social media 

– Performance & Data Analysis: tracking and analysing performance metrics, insights, and engagement to adapt strategies for continuous improvement

– Strategy: develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Khabar Lahariya and all its verticals

Design & Video editing

– Design posts for social media

– Edit and package video content for reels, IGTV, and more.

Other Responsibilities

– Provide backend support and technical assistance for webinars and social media live events

– Manage logistics and promotions for events, awards, seminars, and more.

Work Experience

– A minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a digital media company.

Essential Skills

– Proficiency in using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and mobile-based video editing apps (mandatory)

– Familiarity with Mailchimp, Google Ads, and Google Analytics

– Strong command over both English and Hindi, with prior experience in social media copywriting being a plus (though not mandatory).

Position: Full-time | Location: Delhi NCR
