Educational Equity : Dilemmas & Challenges facing the System, Teachers and Students
When we were revamping Sound Fury and 4G, the precursor to KL Hatke, the goal was to offer multimedia content to our subscribers apart from the deep dives and long reads – SF4G’s core offering. We were (and still are) ambitious while developing our content strategy and wanted to not only pull off but also disrupt formats like panel discussions where ‘experts’ and panellists are everyday people from India’s small towns and villages, grassroots movement builders or local government officials that work from much smaller and dynamic workspaces than their Delhi counterparts. While we have been determined to pursue this, we tend to doubt our efforts when someone’s data runs out while recording, when there’s a power cut at Nazni’s
